This linocut began as a meditation on the holy innocents who lost their lives to King Herod at the birth of Christ. Since then, I learned this kind of iconography has been used to remember all lost innocents, whether from abortion, miscarriage, stillbirths, or infant loss. My prayer is that this artwork may encourage those suffering from these losses through the reminder that Christ loves them all.
