This linocut bookmark is inspired by the moment of St Mary of Egypt’s life when she is stuck outside the church, and sees an icon of the Theotokos. The design of the little shrine itself, however, is inspired by the one outside my church in the US. The bookmark comes protected by a plastic sleeve, and adorned with a gold tassle.
This was the bookmark of the month for March 2026 for my Patreon print club.
